Like all of us my life experiences and personal history make me the person I am as much as my background in the arts, education and life coaching. As an Integrative counsellor I draw on all of the parts of myself to allow for a richer understanding of the issues that people bring to me and to recognise our shared humanity which is the basis of my approach.
I am fully insured to practice and an accredited member of the Irish Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (IACP)and follow their professional ethical guidelines. I am fully committed to continued professional development and I am in regular supervision with a senior accredited supervisor. Until recently I was an accredited registered member of the BACP, (British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy) and a member of IFCP (The Irish Forum For Counselling & Psychotherapy) which was set up by and for Irish therapists based in the UK.
